Robert J. Flanagan Jr.

Biography:

Robert J. Flanagan, Jr. received his undergraduate degree in History with High Honors from the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana in 1991 and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa at that time. He received his law degree cum laude from The Notre Dame Law School, University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana in 1994. He is licensed to practice law before the courts of Connecticut and the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.

Prior to joining Moore, O'Brien and Foti, Mr. Flanagan has over two decades of experience as a litigator primarily focused on personal injury, but also acting as a litigator in Family, Probate and land use cases, as well as performing some general practice work non-litigation work. In that time, Mr. Flanagan has tried more than two dozen jury cases to verdict, dozens of courtside trials, arbitrations and hearings, and has argued three cases before the Connecticut Appellate Court and one before The Connecticut Supreme Court.

Mr. Flanagan serves as an elected member of the Board of Assessment Appeals of the Town of Middlebury, Connecticut, and has done so since 2007.

A father of one girl and three boys, Mr. Flanagan has been served as a volunteer leader in Cub and Boy Scouting programs in various capacities for almost two decades.
